A French pair of carved and painted wood console tables. These vintage tables from France each have a slightly overhanging rectangular-shaped top, with molded edging, over scalloped aprons which are embellished with a carved shell flanked within scrolling foliate accents (at center of one long-side of table skirt). The scalloped shirting at either short end of the tables are edged in delicate leafy-scroll carvings, while backsides are scalloped but plain (best for placement against a wall).
