About the Item

A handsome and very well made Antique Tavern Table with unusual and very decorative form. A round drop leaf table with interesting heavy carved block stretchers with turned gate legs. Ending in scrolled paw feet. Lovely rich tone to the oak and a good practical size H. 27 3/4", W. 12 1/2" W. each leaf 14 1/2" Opens fully to 41 1/2" L Condition: Please see detail photos. There is some age-related wear including a stable age crack across the top, some old expected gouges and a few stable age cracks to the feet which do not detract from the authentic Tavern presentation.
