About the Item

This unique dining set consists of an elegant, round, extendable table (made in Poland) and four original vintage chairs designed by Antonín Šuman (made in Czechoslovakia). It is a great example of best Czech design from the 1960s, appreciated for its timeless elegance and functionality. The whole set has been carefully restored, preserving the original character and vintage charm. The wooden surfaces have been all cleaned and refinished with oil, that not only protects the wood but provides smooth and natural finishing touch. All four chairs have been newly upholstered in an elegant, textured beige fabric, subtly contrasting with the warmth of the walnut. The ergonomic design of the chairs by great Antonin Šuman provides exceptional seating comfort. Additional chairs can added upon request, designed to match the style of the original set. The round table features an extension leaf, offering flexibility for both everyday use and larger gatherings, while maintaining a light and well-balanced form. A timeless and functional dining set with a warm, understated presence—well suited for both modern and classic interiors. Please be informed that although the set was thoroughly restored, these are all original vintage items and may show some small traces of patina or use, the items are not brand new.
