The bed-sofa, designed by Alessandro Becchi together with the giovannetti staff has recently celebrated its 50 years. Its history is full of important events and participations. A piece considered a “classic” of Italian Design, interpreting all-over the world an example and a synonym of “Made in Italy”. New York first of all, where it was exposed at the first significant exhibition of “Design made in Italy”, the fair “The new domestic landscape”, showing to the American public the revolutionary characteristics of Italian design. In this occasion the MoMa itself bought a piece for its permanent exhibition and, in the same year, it was selected and awarded for the prestigious “Compasso d’Oro”. Anfibio sofa is exhibited in 13 museums worldwide. Measure: 190cm.
