About the Item

A handsome and functional storage ottoman by the celebrated Brazilian furniture maker **Celina Decorações**, retaining its original label. The piece features a substantial dark-hardwood base constructed in a distinctive tiered, slatted profile — a hallmark of Brazilian mid-century modernism — with clean, architectural lines that reflect the sophisticated design sensibility of the period. The hinged cushion top lifts to reveal a generous interior storage compartment, lined in a neutral putty-toned fabric. The exterior of the cushion is upholstered in a bold blue and grey geometric jacquard, a later reupholstery that gives the piece a fresh, contemporary appeal while preserving its original structure intact. Versatile in function, this piece works equally well as a coffee table, footrest, or extra seating. With original label still intact. In original vintage condition, can be restored and reupholstered upon client's request.
