About the Item

Lounge chair, faux leather, velvet, brass, beech, Europe, 1930s A beautiful example of 1930s Art Deco design, defined by its strong, confident structure. The trapezoidal armrests create a bold impression with their clean, straight lines, while the arched back softens the overall silhouette. Burgundy faux leather covers the exterior and is finished with rows of nailheads that trace the contours of the chair and emphasize its construction. At the base, subtly sculpted, undulating feet introduce an unexpected decorative element.
