Designed in the 1960s by Danish designer Knud Færch, this dining chair—often referred to as the "Cowhorn Chair"—is one of his defining masterpieces. True to its name, its defining feature is the backrest, which curves outward with both strength and elegance like the horns of a bull. This inventive shape provides more than just striking visual appeal; it functions seamlessly as an armrest while offering exceptional ergonomic support that gently hugs the back. A particularly notable detail is the "finger joint" technique visible at the center of the backrest. By interlocking different woods in a zigzag pattern, this joinery method enhances structural strength while serving as a decorative accent that elevates the piece's overall design.
