About the Item

Unique lamp - Collectible Vintage Italian Lighting - 1970's space age lamp Very unique Space Age lamp from the 1970s. Oval-shaped milky glass with a chrome plate on the top, enveloping it like an eye or a sphere. The form is very playful and highly characteristic of the Space Age style, looking almost like a spaceship. The special thing about it is that it is not a perfect cylinder, but slightly distorted. It looks almost as if it were growing out of a substrate or just about to launch. The lampshade emits a warm, calming light, making any interior not only cozier but also more interesting. It looks great on its own, but could also be complemented with additional chrome or steel elements to enhance its reflections.
