Estudio Dende
Born in 1996 in Bahia, Brazil, Everton Souza is an artist whose practice is deeply rooted in the cultural richness of his homeland. Drawing from the intertwined Indigenous, African, and Portuguese heritage that defines the Recôncavo Baiano, his work transforms local narratives into universal stories. Each piece is conceived as a singular object, carrying its own identity, memory, and dialogue with the world. Trained as an architect, he developed a profound understanding of form, materiality, and spatial composition. In 2024, he began creating collectible objects, and since 2025 has dedicated himself entirely to his artistic practice. His body of work has grown organically, shaped by an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship and the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces. From Bahia to the world, Everton's work carries an unmistakably Brazilian DNA while speaking a language that transcends borders. “I don't create to represent where I come from. I create because where I come from shaped the way I see the world. Every piece is made to belong wherever someone finds a story within it."
