About the Item

An original design by Florian Schulz, one of Germany's most highly regarded lighting designers. Models bearing his name have been synonymous with uncompromising quality, precision craftsmanship, and timeless elegance for decades. The form of the lamp is the essence of 1970s modernism – pure geometry, perfect symmetry, and harmonious proportions. The semicircular shade is set in a slender, round frame, creating an almost sculptural composition. The central base in the form of a massive cylinder gives the structure stability and visual balance. The design combines minimalism with luxury – without unnecessary embellishments, yet with a distinct sense of class and prestige. Florian Schulz lamps were manufactured in Germany from the highest quality materials, with attention to every detail. The brass elements are solid, heavy, and perfectly balanced—this is not mass production, but premium craftsmanship that has stood the test of time. The lamps are renowned for their durability, stable construction, and timeless character, which is why they remain sought after on the collectors' market. The lamp emits a moody, soft light, perfect for a living room, study, or mid-century modern space. It creates an elegant atmosphere and emphasizes the character of the interior. Vintage condition – very good, with a natural brass patina typical for the age of the item. The patina adds authenticity and emphasizes the nobility of the material. Lamps from this brand are considered to be among the highest quality products in the modernist lighting segment.
