About the Item

Wall Appliques - Murano Glass - Sculptural light Offered for sale is a set of two 1980s wall lamps (appliques / sconces) by Murano-based glassmaker "La Murrina". The attribution is clear thanks to the acid-etched signature present on each piece, alongside a little white "snail", the logo of the Murrina furnace. The two lamps, very big at 45 by 45cm (18 by 18 in) each, are triangular in shape; the base glass is clear, but has an abstract filigree motif in orange that warms up the tone of the light. The lamps, as visible, are currently styled on a brown wall - which really enhances their shades. Preserved in optimal conditions, they have no signs of damage, and very little signs of use overall.
