About the Item

Compatible with US/EU standards. LED compatible. Hollywood Regency and Mid-Century Modern style flush mount by Ferro Art (also known as Ferroarte), Spain, 1950s. Composed of several wrought iron leaves or sun rays welded as a crown in a central hammered iron piece. Sunburst, Fairy Tale and Atomic Era vibe. Hammering, welding, forging and metalworking. Finished in brushed gold paint. Artisanal manufacturing. For two E14 light bulbs. Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational, with original bakelite lamp holders. LED compatible. Slight signs of wear and tear over the years. It has been varnished, and repainted the inside in white. Sealed with the maker's mark (see last photo). Farmhouse, French Provincial, Palm Beach Regency, Brutalist, Boho Chic, Maximalist and Sunburst style ceiling light, very timeless and for any type of decoration. It can be used as a wall light or sconce too, and as a pendant lamp by adding a chain. Very much in the style of Chaty Vallauris (François Chaty), Gilbert Poillerat, Maison Jansen and Maison Charles' French creations, of Ferrocolor's Spanish designs, and the brutalist Italian creations of Longobard. Very much in the style also of Hans Kögl and Willy Daro's designs. Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
