An elegant pair of vintage silver table salts, beautifully designed with rich cobalt blue glass liners held within finely detailed neoclassical-style silver stands.
Each piece is supported by three slender legs terminating in small paw-style feet, while charming winged swan or bird motifs decorate the sides. The pierced gallery surrounding the deep blue glass creates a particularly attractive contrast between the cool silver finish and jewel-like cobalt colour.
Both decorative and functional, this sophisticated pair would make a wonderful addition to a formal dining table, traditional English interior, drinks cabinet or collection of vintage silver. Their classical form also makes them highly decorative when displayed simply as small objets d'art.
Perfect for collectors of vintage silver tableware, cobalt blue glass, decorative open salts, neoclassical table accessories, and antique-style dining pieces, they would also make an unusual wedding, anniversary or housewarming gift.
The combination of silver, cobalt blue glass, pierced gallery work and sculptural bird detailing gives this pair an elegant Regency-inspired character that works beautifully within both classical and eclectic interiors.
