A Magnificent pair of French Louis XVI Neoclassical style mottled lavender marble with gilt-bronze mounts, circa early 20th century.  Materials: Crafted from polished lavender or redish marble bodies and adorned with finely cast gilt-bronze scrolled handles and decorative mounts, crowned by skillfully crafted lid finials.  Design: These covered urns feature a classical amphora shape, accented with garland and serpent motifs.  Style: They are designed in the French Neoclassical Louis XVI style, popular for interior decoration.  Measures 14" in width, 10" in depth open, stand 26" tall.
