Elegant handcrafted pill box made in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1970s. Created by Villalobos, this petite sterling silver box features a domed lid inlaid with iridescent abalone shell arranged in geometric panels, creating a vibrant play of turquoise, green, and violet tones. The interior is polished silver with a secure clasp and functional hinge, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of Mexican silversmithing of the period. A beautiful object of both artistry and utility — perfect as a collector’s piece, desk accent, or gift. Stamped “VILLALOBOS 925 MEXICO” on the underside.
